![]() CH. Alma von Gavarol Born 1978. Alma epitomized to us everything a German Shepherd should be, her character, temperament, soundness, type will stay as a benchmark forever.
She started hershow career as a Baby Puppy, Gavin travelling to Auckland to exhibit her at the Auckland GSD Ch show under a SV judge, these were the days when over 200 entries were the norm, from that day when she won Baby Pup in show and Reserve bitch, Alma carved her name through the record book. She won SV Gold and Silver medals, made up a Champion title in both the All Breeds and Specialist shows a Multi Best In Show winner. She lived a full and happy life, much loved by the family. |

Next on the scene was CH. "Gayvilles Dingo" (Imp UK) bred by our lifelong friends Davy and Joan Hall, this was taken with Davy handling him on one of their trips to NZ. Dingo was a multi Gold medal winner and Best In Show winner, Dingo's sister "Dixie" was an English Champion.
Dingo's son," Zambo von Gavarol", Zambo accounted for himself very well in the Specialist ring, living a long and healthy life, he left us at age 15. |

The 2 judges for the breed were Mr Bo Nyman (Sweden) Herr Gunter Bauer SV Germany, and Mr Len Pearce (England) Obedience, Mrs Ruth Schnoor (Australia) Junior Showmanship. 2015 marks the 50th Jubilee of the League, "where has the time gone"
